Human Rights Research Internship — Myanmar Centre for Responsible Business

MCRB is offering a paid internship for law students or recent graduates interested in business and human rights, corporate social responsibility, and Myanmar's development sector. Based at our Yangon office, you will contribute to sector-wide impact assessments, policy research, and stakeholder engagement activities.

This internship offers exposure to international human rights frameworks, Myanmar civil society, and the intersection of law and sustainable development. The position includes structured mentoring and professional development opportunities.

Internship Details

• Duration: 3-6 months
• Type: Paid internship (MMK 300,000/month)
• Start: Rolling applications accepted throughout the year

• Support sector-wide human rights impact assessments
• Conduct desk research on business and human rights topics
• Assist with stakeholder mapping and engagement activities
• Help organize workshops, training sessions, and public forums
• Contribute to MCRB publications and online knowledge resources
• Attend civil society coordination meetings and note key developments

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed law, human rights, or development studies program
• Interest in business and human rights
• Knowledge of UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Excellent writing skills in English and Myanmar
• Experience with civil society or development organizations preferred
