International Law and Cross-Border Transactions Internship
Baker McKenzie Habib Al Mulla is offering a paid summer internship for law students interested in international law and cross-border transactions at our Riyadh office.
Internship Overview
This 10-week paid internship provides exposure to international law practice in Saudi Arabia, including foreign direct investment, cross-border M&A, international trade, and treaty law. You will work on matters involving Saudi Arabia's growing international commercial relationships under Vision 2030.
Duration and Compensation
- Duration: 10 weeks (Summer 2026)
- Compensation: SAR 6,000/month (paid)
- Location: Baker McKenzie Riyadh office
What You Will Do
- Assist with cross-border M&A and foreign direct investment transactions
- Research Saudi foreign investment regulations and MISA licensing requirements
- Draft memoranda on bilateral investment treaties and international trade agreements
- Support the international arbitration team on cross-border disputes
- Participate in Baker McKenzie's global internship development program

Requirements
- Currently enrolled in LLB or LLM at a recognized Saudi or international university
- Interest in international law, cross-border transactions, or foreign investment
- Strong academic record (top 25% of class preferred)
- Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is a strong advantage
- Saudi nationals and international students eligible
- Available for the full 10-week summer program
