Internship Overview

This 10-week paid internship provides exposure to international law practice in Saudi Arabia, including foreign direct investment, cross-border M&A, international trade, and treaty law. You will work on matters involving Saudi Arabia's growing international commercial relationships under Vision 2030.

Duration and Compensation

• Duration: 10 weeks (Summer 2026)
• Compensation: SAR 6,000/month (paid)
• Location: Baker McKenzie Riyadh office

What You Will Do

• Assist with cross-border M&A and foreign direct investment transactions
• Research Saudi foreign investment regulations and MISA licensing requirements
• Draft memoranda on bilateral investment treaties and international trade agreements
• Support the international arbitration team on cross-border disputes
• Participate in Baker McKenzie's global internship development program

• Currently enrolled in LLB or LLM at a recognized Saudi or international university

• Strong academic record (top 25% of class preferred)
• Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is a strong advantage

• Available for the full 10-week summer program
