Internship Description
Depending on your study program the internship may contain the following main points:
- Support the design of new production machines and processes.
- Participation in Bosch Production System projects: continuous improvement work on existing production and/or logistic processes the fields of Safety, Quality, Cost & Delivery.
- Standardization and improvement of production and/or logistics processes.
- Definition & implementation of lean standards: value stream planning, standardized work, pull production, leveling, quick changeover, …
- I4.0 and digitalization.
You must be enrolled as a student.
- Language: good knowledge of English is required. German and possibly Dutch is a plus.
- Fields of study: mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, production engineering, technical business economics.
- Completed basic study period.
- Good knowledge of MS-Office.
- You are able to communicate efficient & effective, you can work on your own and as a team player.
- Responsible, independent and reliable worker.
- Intercultural interest and understanding.
An internship will be successful if you are inquisitive, active and ask for work.
The main condition is that you are a European citizen and if not, you can only do an internship through a European exchange program.
The internship requires that you have the nationality of a EU-country or that you are taking part in the Erasmus program.
The personal experience of the interns is usually the following: The company employs 10-15 interns all year round from various countries. Therefore this is also a great opportunity to enhance your social and language skills. The interns live mostly in Tienen or in Leuven, known as a multicultural university city. You receive 800 € as expense reimbursement per month.
