Intellectual Property Law Internship — ACCRALAW
ACCRALAW's renowned IP Department offers an internship for law students interested in intellectual property law. Based at the firm's BGC offices in Taguig, interns will gain practical experience in trademark prosecution, IP enforcement, and licensing under the guidance of the Philippines' top IP practitioners.
Internship Details
- Duration: 2-3 months
- Compensation: Paid internship with monthly stipend
- Schedule: Full-time during summer; flexible during academic year
Key Responsibilities
- Assist IP attorneys in preparing trademark and patent applications for filing with IPOPHL
- Conduct trademark availability searches and prepare clearance opinion drafts
- Research IP jurisprudence and the Intellectual Property Code (RA 8293)
- Help prepare opposition and cancellation proceedings before IPOPHL
- Assist in anti-counterfeiting strategy development and enforcement coordination
- Draft client correspondence and IP portfolio status reports

Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a J.D. or LL.B. program at a recognized Philippine law school (3rd or 4th year preferred)
- Interest in intellectual property law, technology law, or innovation
- Background in science, engineering, or technology is an advantage for patent work
- Excellent English writing and analytical skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
- Must be available for a minimum of 2 months
