Legal Intern (Staj) — IP & Technology Transfer — Technion, Haifa
The Technion — Israel Institute of Technology invites staj applications for its technology transfer office (T3) in Haifa. This staj offers a unique combination of intellectual property law and cutting-edge technology, working alongside scientists and engineers at one of the world's top research universities.
What You Will Do
- Assist with patent prosecution coordination and invention disclosure reviews
- Support technology licensing negotiations and agreement drafting
- Research IP ownership issues under Israeli Patent Law 5727-1967 and Innovation Authority regulations
- Help prepare materials for spin-off company formations from Technion research
- Conduct freedom-to-operate and prior art research
- Attend meetings with Technion researchers on invention disclosures and commercialization strategies

Requirements
- LLB from a recognized Israeli law faculty (Haifa University proximity is advantageous)
- Science or engineering background is strongly preferred for this IP-focused staj
- Interest in patent law, technology transfer, and academic IP commercialization
- Fluent Hebrew and English
- Eligible for staj registration with the Israel Bar Association
- Strong analytical and research skills
