Legal Compliance Intern — Vietcombank, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi

Vietcombank is offering a 6-month paid internship in its Legal and Compliance Department at the Head Office in Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi. This is a structured programme designed to provide practical exposure to banking compliance and regulatory affairs.

Programme Details

• Duration: 6 months
• Compensation: Paid — monthly stipend of 5,000,000-7,000,000 VND
• Start Date: Rolling applications; next intake Q3 2026
• Eligibility: Open to final-year Cử nhân Luật students or recent graduates with an interest in banking law

Successful interns may be considered for full-time positions in Vietcombank's legal department upon graduation.

• Assist with reviewing and filing loan documentation and security agreements
• Support the compliance team in monitoring regulatory changes from the SBV
• Help maintain the department's database of legal opinions and compliance guidelines
• Conduct basic legal research on banking regulations and new circulars
• Assist with organising internal compliance training sessions
• Perform administrative tasks to support the legal department's operations

• Final-year Cử nhân Luật student or recent graduate from a recognised university
• Interest in banking law, financial regulation, and compliance
• Basic knowledge of the Law on Credit Institutions 2024 and Civil Code 2015
• Fluent Vietnamese; basic to intermediate English
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
