Internship Description
Eesti Pank (Bank of Estonia) is offering a Legal Internship in our Legal Department in Tallinn. You will gain unique insight into central banking law, financial stability regulation, and Estonia's role in the Eurosystem.
Working alongside Eesti Pank's legal team, you will research Estonian and EU financial legislation, support the drafting of legal opinions, and contribute to policy work on digital finance, payment systems, and prudential supervision.
Responsibilities
Conduct legal research on Estonian and EU financial regulation topics. Assist with drafting legal opinions and policy papers. Support the legal team on Eurosystem and ECB coordination matters. Research digital euro, digital finance, and payment systems regulation. Prepare summaries of legislative developments for internal use.
Requirements
Currently enrolled in Oigusteaduse (law) at a recognized Estonian university. Completed at least 5 semesters of legal studies. Interest in financial regulation, central banking, or EU law. Strong legal research and analytical skills. Fluent in Estonian and English.
