Legal Intern — Commercial & Consumer Law

Empresas Polar is offering a legal internship in its Legal Department in Caracas. Interns will gain exposure to commercial law, consumer protection, and regulatory compliance at Venezuela's largest private enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

• Research Venezuelan commercial law, consumer protection legislation, and SUNDDE regulations
• Assist with reviewing supply agreements, distribution contracts, and commercial correspondence
• Draft legal research memoranda on regulatory developments affecting the food and beverage industry
• Support the legal team with contract management and document organisation
• Attend internal training sessions on commercial law and compliance

• Support legal counsel with commercial contract reviews
• Assist with regulatory filing preparation
• Attend Polar's legal department training programme
• Participate in corporate social responsibility legal initiatives

• Currently enrolled in final two years of law school (Derecho) at a Venezuelan university
• Interest in commercial law, consumer protection, or corporate practice
• Bilingual in Spanish and English
• Strong writing and analytical skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
