Internship Description

TGS Baltic Lithuania is offering a legal internship focused on Competition & EU Law. Based in our Siauliai satellite presence, you will support the competition law team with research and case preparation on Lithuanian and EU competition matters.

This internship provides exposure to the Konkurencijos istatymas, EU competition law (Articles 101-102 TFEU), and the work of the Konkurencijos taryba (Competition Council). Siauliai, Lithuania's fourth-largest city, offers a collegial work environment with opportunities to work on matters from across the country.

Responsibilities

Conduct legal research on Lithuanian and EU competition law for case preparation. Assist with analysis of merger notifications and market definition studies. Help prepare submissions to the Konkurencijos taryba (Competition Council). Draft summaries of EU Court of Justice and Lithuanian court decisions on competition matters. Support the team with public procurement and state aid research.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in a law degree program or recent graduate from a recognized Lithuanian or EU university. Interest in competition law, EU law, or economic regulation. Basic understanding of the Konkurencijos istatymas or EU competition law. Analytical mindset with strong research skills. Fluent in Lithuanian and English.
