Internship Description

SEB Estonia is looking for a Legal Intern to support our Digital Banking legal team from our Tartu office. You will gain experience in the legal aspects of digital financial services, payment regulation, and fintech innovation.

Estonia's leadership in digital ID systems (Smart-ID, Mobile-ID) and its advanced e-banking infrastructure make this a uniquely exciting internship for law students interested in the future of financial services.

Responsibilities

Research legal requirements for digital banking products and services. Assist with reviewing terms and conditions for online financial products. Monitor regulatory developments in EU digital finance regulation. Help prepare internal legal briefings and compliance summaries. Support the legal team with document management and coordination tasks.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in law or business law studies at the University of Tartu or equivalent. Interest in fintech, digital banking, or payment services law. Basic understanding of Estonian financial regulation. Good analytical and communication skills. Fluent in Estonian and English.
