Internship Description
Lietuvos bankas (Bank of Lithuania) is offering a legal internship in our Legal Department in Vilnius. This is a prestigious opportunity to gain experience at Lithuania's central bank and financial market supervisor, one of the EU's most active fintech regulators.
You will assist legal specialists with research on financial regulation, drafting legal opinions, and supporting the supervision of financial market participants. The internship provides valuable exposure to the Banku istatymas, Mokejimo istaigu istatymas, and EU financial services legislation within the Eurosystem framework.
Responsibilities
Assist legal specialists with research on Lithuanian and EU financial services legislation. Draft summaries and comparative analyses of fintech regulation across EU member states. Support the preparation of legal opinions on supervisory matters. Attend Lietuvos bankas training sessions and seminars on financial regulation. Assist with the review and preparation of regulatory documentation and correspondence.
Requirements
Currently enrolled in a Teises magistras program at a recognized Lithuanian university. Strong academic record with coursework in financial or administrative law. Interest in central banking, financial regulation, or fintech. Research-oriented with strong analytical skills. Fluent in Lithuanian and English.
