Internship Description

The Superintendencia de Bancos (SIB) de Guatemala offers a Legal Internship for law students interested in financial regulation and bank supervision. Based at the SIB's Antigua Guatemala training facility, you will assist the Legal Unit with regulatory research and supervisory documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Research SIB normativa, prudential regulations, and banking law
Assist with analysis of bank examination reports and compliance findings
Draft basic regulatory memoranda and circulars
Support the legal team with documentation for enforcement proceedings
Compile comparative research on Central American banking regulations

Responsibilities

Support the SIB legal unit on supervisory matters
