Internship Description
The Estonian Competition Authority (Konkurentsiamet) is offering a Legal Internship in our Market Supervision department in Tallinn. You will gain practical experience in competition enforcement and regulatory oversight at Estonia's key market regulator.
This public sector internship provides exposure to the Konkurentsiseadus (Competition Act), energy and communications market regulation, and EU regulatory cooperation through the European Competition Network (ECN). It is an excellent stepping stone for a career in competition law or public service.
Responsibilities
Assist with research on competition law investigations and market analysis. Support the review of concentration (merger) notification filings. Research EU competition law developments and ECN cooperation matters. Help draft internal reports and analytical summaries. Participate in departmental meetings and case discussions.
Requirements
Currently enrolled in Oigusteaduse (law) at a recognized Estonian university. Interest in competition law, regulatory affairs, or public administration. Basic knowledge of Estonian administrative law and the Konkurentsiseadus. Strong research and analytical skills. Fluent in Estonian and English.
