Internship Description
Krka d.d. offers a Legal Internship in our Pharmaceutical Regulatory legal team at our Ljubljana representative office. Krka is one of the world's leading generic pharmaceutical companies headquartered in Novo Mesto, and this internship at our Ljubljana office provides unique exposure to pharmaceutical law, IP strategy, and life sciences regulation while being based in the capital.
You will gain practical experience with the Zakon o zdravilih (ZZdr-2, Medicinal Products Act), EU pharmaceutical regulations, and the legal aspects of generic drug development and marketing authorization. The Ljubljana office coordinates regulatory submissions to JAZMP (Medicines Agency) and handles EU-level pharmaceutical compliance matters.
Responsibilities
Assist with legal review of pharmaceutical regulatory submissions and marketing authorization documents. Research EU pharmaceutical legislation, including generic drug pathways and data exclusivity rules. Support the IP team with patent landscape analysis and freedom-to-operate reviews. Help prepare licensing agreements and distribution contracts for pharmaceutical products. Attend regulatory meetings and gain exposure to JAZMP (Medicines Agency) interactions.
Requirements
Current enrollment in or recent completion of Magister prava at a recognized university. Interest in pharmaceutical law, IP, or life sciences regulation. Knowledge of ZZdr-2 (Medicinal Products Act) fundamentals. Proficiency in Slovenian and English. Strong research and organizational skills.
