Legal Intern - Real Estate & Construction

Law Firm Senica & Partners offers a Legal Internship in our Real Estate & Construction practice, based in our Maribor office. You will gain practical experience in property law, construction regulation, and real estate transactions, working on matters across the Štajerska region and broader Slovenian market.

The internship provides hands-on experience with the Stvarnopravni zakonik (SPZ, Property Code), Zakon o zemljiški knjigi (ZZK-1, Land Register Act), and Zakon o graditvi objektov (ZGO-1, Construction Act). Maribor's growing real estate market, driven by university expansion, tourism, and industrial development, offers diverse practical exposure.

Assist with property due diligence, including Zemljiska knjiga (Land Register) searches and title reviews. Research Slovenian property and construction law for ongoing transactions. Help prepare sale-purchase agreements, lease contracts, and property documentation. Support the team with construction permit applications and zoning research. Draft preliminary memoranda on real estate and construction legal issues.

Current enrollment in or recent completion of Magister prava at a recognized university. Interest in real estate, property, or construction law. Knowledge of SPZ (Property Code) fundamentals. Proficiency in Slovenian; English proficiency preferred. Organized and detail-oriented.
