Internship Description
IDAL offers a Legal Research Intern position within its Policy and Legal Affairs unit. This internship provides exposure to investment law, trade policy, and government advisory work, ideal for law students interested in public policy and international economic law.
Responsibilities
Research investment legislation and regulations in Lebanon and the MENA region. Assist with drafting investment policy briefs and legal analyses. Compile data on bilateral investment treaties and free trade agreements. Support the preparation of investor guides and promotional materials. Attend stakeholder meetings and policy workshops.
Requirements
Currently enrolled in a Licence en Droit or related degree program. Interest in investment law, trade policy, or international economic law. Research and analytical skills. Proficiency in Arabic and English; French preferred. Minimum 3-month commitment.
