Pasantía — Prácticas Preprofesionales en Arbitraje Internacional

Dentons Paz Horowitz offers a pre-professional internship in its International Arbitration & Dispute Resolution practice in Quito. Interns will support the team on commercial and investment arbitrations, gaining exposure to ICC, ICSID, and ad hoc proceedings.

This is a rare opportunity to experience international arbitration at one of the world's largest law firms from Ecuador's capital, working on cross-border disputes involving Latin American parties.

• Conducting legal research on arbitration law, BITs, and public international law
• Assisting with preparation of arbitral submissions and witness statements
• Reviewing and organising documentary evidence for arbitration proceedings
• Attending arbitration hearings as an observer
• Preparing case summaries and legal memoranda for the arbitration team

• Currently enrolled in the final 2 years of Derecho at a recognised Ecuadorian university
• Strong interest in international arbitration, public international law, or investment law
• Excellent English (written and spoken) — bilingual drafting is essential for this role
• Participation in moot court competitions (Vis Moot, FDI Moot) strongly preferred
• Strong legal research and writing skills
