Ferrere Ecuador offers a pre-professional internship in its Competition Law practice in Quito. Interns will support the team on merger control filings, competition investigations, and regulatory proceedings before the SCPM.

This is a unique opportunity to gain experience in one of Ecuador's fastest-growing legal practice areas, with exposure to Ferrere's regional competition network across Latin America.

• Conducting legal research on SCPM decisions, resolutions, and competition jurisprudence
• Assisting with preparation of merger control notification documents
• Supporting the team with compliance programme materials and training documents
• Helping prepare market analysis and competitive landscape reports
• Reviewing regulatory publications and maintaining the competition law database

• Currently enrolled in the final 2 years of Derecho at a recognised Ecuadorian university
• Interest in competition law, regulatory, or economic law
• Strong analytical and research skills
• Basic knowledge of the Ley Orgánica de Regulación y Control del Poder de Mercado
• English proficiency preferred for regional research work
