Practica Profesional — Litigios Civiles (Santiago)

Claro & Cia offers a 6-month practica profesional placement in the Civil Litigation practice for final-year Derecho students completing their mandatory internship. The programme provides hands-on experience in commercial disputes, contract litigation, and enforcement proceedings before Chilean courts.

Practicantes gain direct exposure to proceedings before Juzgados de Letras en lo Civil, Cortes de Apelaciones, and the preparation of recursos de casacion before the Corte Suprema. The programme includes structured mentorship, legal writing workshops, and participation in case preparation sessions alongside senior litigators.

• Assisting lawyers with preparation of court filings under the Codigo de Procedimiento Civil
• Conducting legal research on jurisprudence of the Corte Suprema and Cortes de Apelaciones
• Attending hearings at Juzgados de Letras en lo Civil
• Reviewing case files and preparing internal memoranda and case chronologies
• Drafting preliminary versions of escritos judiciales under supervision

• Final-year Derecho student completing practica profesional
• Enrolled at a recognised Chilean university
• Strong interest in litigation and dispute resolution
• Excellent legal writing and oral advocacy skills in Spanish
• Knowledge of the Codigo de Procedimiento Civil and Codigo Civil
