Practice Trainee – Corporate
Allen & Gledhill LLP invites applications for Practice Trainees in its Corporate department for the 12-month Practice Training Contract (PTC) at One Marina Boulevard. Allen & Gledhill's PTC programme is one of the most sought-after in Singapore, offering structured training across both Advocate and Solicitor seats.
Training Highlights
- Complete the mandatory 12-month PTC with rotations across Corporate, M&A, Banking & Finance, and Capital Markets groups
- Assist with SGX-listed company transactions, IPOs, and compliance advisory under the SFA and Companies Act
- Draft board resolutions, shareholder agreements, prospectus sections, and transaction closing documents
- Conduct due diligence reviews, regulatory research, and deal coordination under associate supervision
- Fulfil both Advocate and Solicitor seats with exposure to corporate litigation matters
Requirements
- Holder of a recognised law degree from NUS, SMU, SUSS, or an SILE-approved overseas law school
- Passed or scheduled to take the Part B Bar Examinations administered by SILE
- Strong academic results, particularly in corporate law, company law, and securities regulation
- Excellent analytical, drafting, and research skills
- Ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced transactional environment
This is a paid 12-month PTC position. A training honorarium is provided in accordance with Law Society guidelines.
