Rechtspraktikum — Banking & Finance at Wolf Theiss
Wolf Theiss offers a Rechtspraktikum (legal internship) in our Banking & Finance practice in Vienna. This structured internship is designed for law students or recent graduates who wish to gain practical experience at a leading CEE law firm.
What You Will Do
- Assist lawyers on live banking and finance transactions across the CEE region
- Conduct legal research on Austrian banking law (BWG) and EU financial regulation
- Help prepare transaction documentation, loan agreements, and security packages
- Attend client meetings and internal practice group sessions
- Participate in Wolf Theiss training programs and professional development events
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed Austrian law studies (Mag. jur./LL.B.)
- Strong academic record and genuine interest in banking and finance law
- Fluent in German and English
- Detail-oriented with excellent research and writing skills
- Team player with a proactive attitude
