Al Rajhi Bank is offering a paid legal internship in our Shari'a Compliance and Legal Department in Riyadh. This unique internship combines Islamic finance knowledge with practical legal skills.
Internship Overview
This 10-week paid internship provides an opportunity to learn about Shari'a compliance at the world's largest Islamic bank. You will work with the Shari'a Compliance team to review banking products, assess Shari'a compliance, and support the legal department's operations.
Duration and Compensation
- Duration: 10 weeks
- Compensation: SAR 5,000/month (paid)
- Location: Al Rajhi Bank headquarters, Riyadh
What You Will Do
- Assist with Shari'a compliance reviews of banking products and services
- Research Fiqh Al-Muamalat principles applicable to modern banking
- Review contract templates for Shari'a compliance (murabaha, ijara, tawarruq)
- Attend Shari'a Board meetings as an observer
- Assist with SAMA regulatory compliance and reporting

Requirements
- Currently enrolled in LLB, Islamic studies, or Islamic finance program
- Knowledge of or interest in Fiqh Al-Muamalat and Islamic commercial principles
- Strong academic record
- Fluent in Arabic; English proficiency preferred
- Saudi nationals preferred
- Available for full 10-week duration
