Patrikios Pavlou & Associates LLC is offering a Pupillage in its Shipping & Maritime department in Limassol. As an Ασκούμενος, you will train alongside experienced maritime lawyers, gaining exposure to ship sale and purchase, charter party disputes, and admiralty litigation in Cyprus's premier shipping jurisdiction.

Limassol is the heart of Cyprus's maritime industry, home to the Deputy Ministry of Shipping and major shipping companies. This pupillage provides unparalleled training in maritime law at a leading firm.

• Assist with ship sale and purchase documentation and flag state registration procedures
• Conduct research on maritime conventions, Merchant Shipping Laws, and admiralty case law
• Assist with charter party dispute preparation and maritime arbitration bundles
• Draft ship arrest applications, caveats, and admiralty court pleadings under supervision
• Attend admiralty hearings at the Limassol District Court with supervising Dikigoros
• Prepare summaries of maritime regulatory developments for the shipping practice group

• LLB from a recognised university; modules in maritime law or shipping are a strong advantage
• Eligible to register as an Ασκούμενος with the Cyprus Bar Association
• Interest in shipping, maritime, and admiralty law
• Understanding of international maritime conventions (SOLAS, MARPOL, UNCLOS)
• Fluent Greek and English
• Willingness to attend Limassol District Court (Admiralty) hearings
