• Type: Stage d'Avocat (Geneva bar traineeship)
• Duration: 18-month Stage as required for the Brevet d'avocat genevois
• Start Date: Rolling — applications reviewed quarterly
• Eligibility: MLaw graduates from a Swiss university (UNIGE, UNIL, or equivalent) intending to obtain the Geneva Brevet d'avocat

What You Will Do

• Assist on ICC, ICSID, and ad hoc international arbitration proceedings
• Research questions of public and private international law
• Draft sections of arbitration memorials and witness statements
• Assist with document review and production using e-discovery platforms
• Attend arbitration hearings at the ICC hearing centre and in Geneva hotels

• Support the arbitration team on active proceedings
• Draft legal research memoranda on procedural and substantive issues
• Assist with document management and chronologies
• Attend hearings and take detailed notes
• Participate in firm training and bar exam preparation

• MLaw from a Swiss university (UNIGE, UNIL preferred)
• Strong academic record and interest in international arbitration
• Fluent in French and English; German is an advantage
• Participation in a moot court competition (Vis, Jessup) is a strong advantage
• Intention to obtain the Geneva Brevet d'avocat
