Clifford Chance's Casablanca office offers a prestigious 6-month Stage in its Banking and Finance practice. Based in Nearshore Park within the CFC ecosystem, this Stage provides Magic Circle-level training and exposure to landmark financing transactions across Morocco and Francophone Africa.

Programme Highlights

Stagiaires at Clifford Chance Casablanca are exposed to international-calibre deal flow, including project finance for infrastructure and energy projects, acquisition finance for private equity transactions, and structured finance across multiple African jurisdictions. You will work in a trilingual (French/English/Arabic) environment alongside lawyers qualified across multiple jurisdictions.

Stage Details

• Duration: 6 months
• Type: Paid Stage with monthly stipend of 5,000 MAD
• Location: Nearshore Park, Casablanca Finance City
• Eligibility: Master 2 students or CAPA candidates with strong academic records

• Assist on finance documentation: loan agreements, security packages, and intercreditor agreements
• Conduct legal research on Moroccan banking regulations and Bank Al-Maghrib circulars
• Support due diligence processes on banking and project finance transactions
• Draft legal memoranda and client briefing notes
• Attend internal training sessions and Magic Circle development programmes
• Participate in cross-office knowledge-sharing with Clifford Chance's global network

• Current enrolment in Master 2 in Banking Law, Finance Law, or Business Law from a leading Moroccan, French, or international university
• Outstanding academic record; top of class preferred
• Strong interest in banking and project finance law
• Excellent French and English required; Arabic an advantage
• Prior legal experience (even short-term) is valued but not required
