Stage — Corporate & M&A | Kettani Law Firm, Casablanca

Kettani Law Firm (KLF), one of Morocco's most prestigious independent law firms on Rue Lahcen El Basri in Casablanca, offers a 6-month Stage (internship) in its Corporate and M&A practice. This Stage is ideal for law students completing their Master 2 or young graduates preparing for the CAPA (Certificat d'Aptitude à la Profession d'Avocat) examination.

Programme Overview

As a stagiaire at KLF, you will be integrated into the corporate team and exposed to real client work from your first week. KLF is a member of the Association des Barreaux du Maroc and committed to developing the next generation of Moroccan avocats. The Stage at KLF is widely recognised as one of the most formative experiences available to aspiring corporate lawyers in Morocco.

Stage Details

  • Duration: 6 months (renewable)
  • Type: Paid Stage with monthly stipend of 4,000 MAD
  • Location: Rue Lahcen El Basri, Casablanca
  • Eligibility: Master 1 or Master 2 students, or CAPA candidates enrolled at the Barreau de Casablanca

Responsibilities

  • Assist avocats with legal due diligence on M&A transactions
  • Draft corporate resolutions, minutes, and statutory documentation
  • Research Moroccan commercial law questions and prepare memoranda
  • Help prepare regulatory filings and Conseil de la Concurrence submissions
  • Attend client meetings and observe court proceedings
  • Support administrative aspects of deal management

Requirements

  • Current enrolment in Master 1 or Master 2 in Business Law, Corporate Law, or equivalent at a Moroccan or French university
  • Strong academic record with genuine interest in corporate and M&A law
  • Knowledge of Moroccan company law (Loi 17-95, Loi 5-96) and the Code de Commerce
  • Excellent French drafting skills; Arabic and English advantageous
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple assignments
