Stage — Competition Law Research | Conseil de la Concurrence, Rabat

Le Conseil de la Concurrence, Morocco's independent constitutional competition authority in Rabat, offers a 4-month research Stage for advanced law or economics students interested in competition law and economic regulation. This is a rare opportunity to gain inside experience at one of Morocco's most important regulatory institutions.

Programme Overview

Stagiaires assist the Rapporteur Général's team with sector studies, market analysis, and case research under Loi n°104-12 sur la liberté des prix et de la concurrence. You will contribute to real investigation files and policy studies, working at the intersection of law and economics in a stimulating intellectual environment.

Stage Details

  • Duration: 4 months
  • Type: Unpaid Stage with transport allowance
  • Location: Hay Riad, Rabat
  • Eligibility: Master 2 students in Competition Law, Economic Law, or Economics with legal orientation

Responsibilities

  • Conduct legal and economic research for ongoing sector inquiries and market studies
  • Assist rapporteurs with preparation of investigation reports (rapports d'instruction)
  • Research Moroccan and international competition law jurisprudence
  • Help prepare case summaries and briefing notes for the Council
  • Contribute to the Council's publications, annual report, and knowledge-sharing initiatives
  • Attend internal seminars on competition economics and enforcement methodology

Requirements

  • Master 2 student in Competition Law, Economic Law, or Economics with legal specialisation
  • Strong academic record from a Moroccan university or Grande École
  • Interest in antitrust, market regulation, and economic analysis
  • Knowledge of Loi 104-12 and international competition law principles
  • Excellent analytical and writing skills in French; Arabic required
