Summer Intern – IP & Technology
Drew & Napier LLC is offering a 2–4 week summer internship in its Intellectual Property & Technology practice in the Central Business District. This programme gives penultimate and final-year law students practical exposure to IP litigation, technology transactions, and data protection advisory in Singapore.
Programme Highlights
- Shadow partners and associates in IP litigation matters before the High Court and IPOS
- Assist with research on trade mark, patent, and copyright matters under Singapore IP legislation
- Draft research memos on PDPA compliance, AI governance, and emerging technology regulation
- Attend hearings at IPOS, the State Courts, and the High Court with supervising lawyers
- Participate in Drew & Napier's summer intern speaker series and networking events
Requirements
- Penultimate or final-year law student at NUS, SMU, SUSS, or an overseas law school
- Strong academic record with demonstrated interest in IP, technology, or data protection law
- Excellent legal research and writing skills
- Prior coursework or publications in IP or technology law is preferred
- Available for a minimum 2-week commitment during the summer vacation period
This is a paid internship. A daily allowance is provided for the duration of the programme.
