Programme Details

• Duration: 12 months (mandatory Tập sự period)
• Compensation: Paid — internationally competitive monthly allowance
• Start Date: Rolling applications; next intake Q3 2026
• Eligibility: Open to final-year Cử nhân Luật students or recent graduates who have completed the Lawyer Training Course at the Judicial Academy

• Assist with drafting employment contracts, internal labour regulations, and workplace policies
• Research Vietnamese labour law and social insurance regulations for client memoranda
• Support due diligence on employment matters in corporate transactions
• Attend meetings with the Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs
• Participate in Baker McKenzie's global training webinars and regional workshops
• Assist with pro bono legal aid projects in coordination with the Vietnam Bar Federation

• Completed or completing Cử nhân Luật from a recognised Vietnamese university
• Completed the Lawyer Training Course at the Judicial Academy
• Interest in employment law, labour relations, or human resources legal advisory
• Knowledge of the Labour Code 2019 and Law on Social Insurance 2024
• Fluent Vietnamese; good English (IELTS 6.5+ or equivalent)
• Strong writing and analytical skills
