Tax Advisory Internship — VDB Loi Myanmar

VDB Loi Myanmar invites applications for a paid internship in our tax advisory practice at our Inya Lake office. This is a unique opportunity to learn about Myanmar's evolving tax system, working alongside qualified tax advisors on compliance matters, transfer pricing, and international tax planning.

Interns will gain practical experience with Myanmar's Income Tax Law, Commercial Tax Law, and the tax incentive framework under the Investment Law. The internship includes structured mentoring and training in tax advisory skills.

Internship Details

• Duration: 3 months
• Type: Paid internship (MMK 250,000/month)
• Start: Flexible start dates

• Research Myanmar tax laws and recent regulatory developments
• Assist with preparation of tax advisory memoranda
• Support tax due diligence on corporate transactions
• Help compile tax compliance checklists and calendars
• Attend client meetings and internal tax seminars
• Assist with IRD filing preparation and documentation

• Currently enrolled in law, accounting, or finance program
• Interest in tax law and advisory
• Basic understanding of Myanmar tax legislation
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Proficient in Myanmar and English
• Proficiency in Excel and data analysis
