Technology and Telecoms Law Internship — Rajah & Tann NK Legal Myanmar
Rajah & Tann NK Legal Myanmar offers a paid internship in our Technology, Media and Telecommunications practice. Based at our Times City office in Kamayut Township, interns will work on cutting-edge regulatory matters related to fintech, mobile financial services, data protection, and e-commerce in Myanmar.
This internship is ideal for law students interested in the intersection of technology and regulation in a rapidly developing digital economy.
Internship Details
- Duration: 3 months
- Type: Paid internship (MMK 250,000/month)
- Start: Rolling applications
Responsibilities
- Research Myanmar telecommunications and technology regulations
- Assist with regulatory analysis of fintech and mobile money services
- Help prepare client alerts on digital economy regulatory developments
- Support licensing application documentation
- Conduct comparative legal research on ASEAN data protection laws
- Attend industry events and internal knowledge-sharing sessions
Requirements
- LL.B. student (3rd year or above) or recent graduate
- Interest in technology law, data protection, or fintech regulation
- Awareness of Myanmar's digital economy developments
- Good research and writing skills in Myanmar and English
- Tech-savvy with interest in emerging technologies
