Internship Description

Paid Internship — Omantel is offering a 3-month Telecom & Technology Legal Internship at its Al Mawaleh headquarters in Muscat. Interns gain experience in telecom regulation, data protection, and commercial contract management at the Sultanate's leading telecoms provider.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in reviewing commercial contracts, roaming agreements, and vendor NDAs
Research the Personal Data Protection Law (RD 6/2022) and TRA privacy regulations
Support the team on regulatory submissions to the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority
Help prepare compliance reports and board documentation
Attend legal department meetings and industry regulatory consultations

Eligibility

Final year LLB student or recent LLB graduate from a recognised university
Interest in technology law, data protection, or telecom regulation
Bilingual Arabic and English
Duration: 3 months, starts Q2/Q3 2026
Stipend: 200-300 OMR per month
