Internship Description
Finansinspektionen (FI) is offering a trainee jurist position in its Supervision department at Brunnsgatan 3 near Hötorget, Stockholm. This is an exceptional opportunity to learn financial regulation from Sweden's supervisory authority, working alongside experienced jurister on bank supervision, insurance oversight, and securities market regulation.
Key Responsibilities
- Research Swedish and EU financial regulation including CRD/CRR, Solvency II, and MiFID II
- Assist with supervisory analysis and SREP review preparation for Swedish financial institutions
- Support the drafting of FFFS regulations and FI guidance documents
- Attend internal seminars and supervisory meetings as an observer
Requirements
- Enrolled in juristprogrammet — completed minimum 3 years; strong interest in financial regulation
- Basic knowledge of EU financial services legislation
- Analytical mindset and strong writing skills
- Swedish citizenship or EU residency preferred
