Job Description
ABNR Counsellors at Law is hiring an Associate for its Banking & Finance practice group at the Graha CIMB Niaga office on Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, Jakarta. You will work on syndicated loan transactions, project finance, and structured finance deals governed by UU Perbankan (Banking Law No. 7/1992 as amended).
Key Responsibilities
- Draft and review loan agreements, security documents, and inter-creditor agreements
- Advise on regulatory compliance with Bank Indonesia and OJK requirements
- Conduct legal due diligence on borrower entities and collateral
- Represent clients before the Pengadilan Negeri Jakarta (District Court) on enforcement matters
- Research comparative banking regulations across ASEAN markets
Requirements
- LLB from an accredited Indonesian university
- Admitted as Advokat by PERADI
- 3-5 years experience in banking and finance law
- Strong drafting skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia
- Knowledge of Basel III compliance requirements
Responsibilities
Draft loan agreements, advise on BI/OJK compliance, conduct due diligence, represent clients in court
