Job Description

Kaplan & Stratton, one of Kenya's oldest and most prestigious law firms, seeks an Associate for its Dispute Resolution practice. The firm handles complex commercial disputes, international arbitration (ICC, LCIA, KCAB), constitutional petitions, and judicial review proceedings.

Responsibilities

Draft pleadings, submissions, and legal opinions for commercial disputes. Conduct legal research on Kenyan and East African case law. Appear in court and represent clients before tribunals and arbitral panels. Manage a caseload of active matters with partner oversight.

Requirements

Advocate of the High Court of Kenya. 2-5 years PQE in civil litigation and/or commercial arbitration. Experience appearing before the High Court, Court of Appeal, and tribunals. Knowledge of the Arbitration Act 1995 and KCAB Rules.

Compensation

KSh150,000 - KSh350,000/month
