Sorainen Lithuania is seeking an Associate for our Intellectual Property & Technology practice in Vilnius. You will advise on IP protection, technology transactions, and digital innovation matters for Lithuanian and international clients.
Lithuania's thriving tech ecosystem, home to unicorns like Vinted and a vibrant fintech sector, creates strong demand for IP and tech legal expertise. The role covers trademark and patent strategy, software licensing, SaaS agreements, and disputes before the Valstybinis patentu biuras (State Patent Bureau). You will leverage Sorainen's Baltic network to serve cross-border clients.
Responsibilities
Advise clients on trademark, patent, and copyright protection strategies in Lithuania and the EU. Draft and negotiate technology agreements including SaaS, licensing, and development contracts. Represent clients in IP disputes before the Valstybinis patentu biuras and Lithuanian courts. Advise on AI, fintech, and emerging technology regulation. Coordinate with Sorainen offices on cross-border IP matters across the Baltics.
Requirements
Teises magistras from a recognized university. 2-4 years of experience in IP and technology law. Knowledge of Lithuanian IP legislation and EU IP frameworks. Experience with technology transactions and software licensing. Fluent in Lithuanian and English.
