Job Description
Sorainen Lithuania is looking for a Junior Associate to join our Corporate & Commercial practice, working primarily from our Klaipeda presence to serve clients in Lithuania's key port city and the western region. You will assist with company formations, commercial contracts, and corporate governance matters.
Klaipeda, Lithuania's third-largest city and a major Baltic Sea port, is home to a thriving logistics, maritime, and industrial sector that generates significant demand for corporate legal services. The role involves working with the Civilinis kodeksas and Akciniu bendroviu istatymas.
Responsibilities
Assist with company formations and registrations at the Juridniu asmenu registras. Draft and review commercial contracts, distribution agreements, and service agreements. Support due diligence for corporate transactions and acquisitions. Prepare corporate governance documentation including board resolutions and shareholder agreements. Advise Klaipeda-based clients on day-to-day corporate law and commercial matters.
Requirements
Teises magistras from a recognized Lithuanian university. 1-2 years of experience in corporate or commercial law. Knowledge of the Civilinis kodeksas and Lithuanian company law. Experience with contract drafting and corporate transactions. Fluent in Lithuanian and English.
