Job Description
Roschier's Stockholm office near Sergels Torg is seeking an Associate for its Technology & IP practice. Stockholm is Europe's leading tech startup hub after London, home to Spotify, Klarna, King, and hundreds of scale-ups in the Stureplan and Kista corridors. You will advise technology companies on IP protection, data privacy (GDPR), AI regulation, and technology transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise Swedish tech companies on patent, trademark, and copyright protection under Swedish and EU IP frameworks
- Handle GDPR compliance including Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten (IMY/Swedish DPA) engagement and data processing agreements
- Draft and negotiate SaaS agreements, technology licensing, and software development contracts
- Advise on EU AI Act compliance, digital platform regulation (DSA/DMA), and open-source licensing
Requirements
- Swedish juristexamen or LL.M.; 3-5 years PQE in technology, IP, or data protection
- Knowledge of GDPR implementation in Sweden and IMY guidance
- Experience advising technology companies or startups preferred
- Fluent in English; Swedish proficiency highly valued
