Commercial Contracts Manager — Baker McKenzie, Baghdad
Baker McKenzie is hiring a Commercial Contracts Manager to oversee the drafting, negotiation, and management of commercial agreements for the firm's Iraq practice clients across energy, telecommunications, and construction sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft and negotiate commercial contracts including supply agreements, service contracts, and distribution arrangements
- Manage contract lifecycle from negotiation through execution and renewal
- Advise on Iraqi commercial law, agency law, and distribution regulations
- Handle contract disputes and claims management
- Support tender processes and government procurement contracts
- Coordinate with clients' commercial teams on contract strategy

- Experience in energy, infrastructure, or telecommunications sectors preferred
- Strong negotiation and client management skills
