Job Description

The Estonian Competition Authority (Konkurentsiamet) is recruiting a Competition Law Officer to join our enforcement team in Tallinn. You will investigate potential infringements of the Konkurentsiseadus (Competition Act) and EU competition law in the Estonian market.

The role involves analyzing concentration notifications, investigating prohibited agreements and abuse of dominance, and preparing decisions. You will cooperate with the European Commission and other Baltic competition authorities through the European Competition Network (ECN).

Responsibilities

Investigate potential competition law infringements under the Konkurentsiseadus and EU law. Analyze concentration (merger) notifications and prepare recommendations. Draft decisions and enforcement orders for competition cases. Cooperate with the European Commission and Baltic competition authorities through the ECN. Monitor market developments and identify potential competition concerns.

Requirements

Oigusteaduse magister from a recognized university. 2-5 years of experience in competition law or economic regulation. Knowledge of the Konkurentsiseadus (Competition Act) and EU competition law (Articles 101-102 TFEU). Analytical skills and experience with economic analysis. Fluent in Estonian and English.
