Contract Review Specialist — LPO — LegalBase Philippines
LegalBase Philippines in Cebu City is seeking a Contract Review Specialist to join its growing legal process outsourcing (LPO) operations. The specialist will review, analyze, and abstract commercial contracts for international law firms and corporate legal departments from the company's Cebu IT Park office.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and abstract commercial contracts including NDAs, service agreements, licensing agreements, and procurement contracts
- Extract key terms, obligations, deadlines, and risk provisions from contract portfolios
- Populate contract management systems with accurate metadata and clause analysis
- Identify non-standard terms, deviation from templates, and potential risk areas
- Prepare contract summaries and executive reports for client legal teams
- Apply AI-assisted contract review tools and machine learning-based extraction systems
- Maintain quality assurance standards and meet daily review volume targets

Requirements
- LL.B. or J.D. from a recognized Philippine law school; Philippine Bar admission is a plus but not required
- 1-3 years of contract review, legal research, or paralegal experience
- Strong understanding of contract law principles and commercial legal terminology
- Proficiency in contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools is an advantage
- Excellent English reading comprehension and analytical skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work on high-volume review projects
- Comfortable working night shifts for US and UK client time zones
