Corporate Banking Lawyer — Canadia Bank Plc., Phnom Penh

Canadia Bank Plc. is recruiting a Corporate Banking Lawyer for its Head Office Legal Department in Phnom Penh. You will handle the legal documentation for the bank's corporate lending portfolio, advise on security structures, and ensure compliance with the Law on Banking and Financial Institutions (2016) and NBC regulations.

• Draft and negotiate loan facility agreements, security agreements, and corporate guarantee documents
• Conduct legal due diligence on borrowers and security assets
• Register security interests with the Secured Transactions Filing Office and Cadastral Office
• Advise on structured finance transactions, syndicated loans, and trade finance documentation
• Ensure compliance with NBC regulations on lending limits, related-party transactions, and large exposure rules
• Support the bank's legal position in credit committee deliberations

• 3-6 years' PQE in banking law, corporate lending, or financial regulation
• Admitted to the BAKC or degree in Law from a recognised institution
• Strong knowledge of the Law on Banking and Financial Institutions, Law on Secured Transactions, and Civil Code
• Experience drafting loan facility agreements, security documentation, and corporate guarantees
• Understanding of NBC prudential regulations on lending limits and provisioning requirements
• Fluent Khmer and English
