Job Description

Eversheds Sutherland Bitans seeks a Data Protection & Privacy Lawyer to advise clients on GDPR compliance, data breach response, and privacy by design implementation. You will be part of Eversheds Sutherland's global data protection team with access to expertise across 70+ offices worldwide.

Responsibilities

Advise clients on GDPR compliance programs and data protection impact assessments. Handle data breach notifications to the Data State Inspectorate. Draft privacy policies, data processing agreements, and consent mechanisms. Support cross-border data transfer arrangements and advise on international data flows.

Requirements

Master's degree in law. 3-5 years of experience in data protection and privacy law. CIPP/E certification preferred. Deep knowledge of GDPR, Latvian Personal Data Processing Law, and ePrivacy regulations. Fluent in Latvian and English.
