Dispute Resolution Senior Associate — Allen & Gledhill Myanmar

Allen & Gledhill Myanmar is looking for a Dispute Resolution Senior Associate to join our Junction City Tower office. You will handle complex commercial litigation before the Yangon Region High Court and Union Supreme Court, as well as international arbitration proceedings under SIAC, ICC, and UNCITRAL rules.

This role involves representing clients in construction disputes, joint venture dissolution matters, shareholder oppression claims, and enforcement of foreign arbitral awards under the Arbitration Law 2016. You will also advise on alternative dispute resolution mechanisms and mediation under Myanmar law.

• Represent clients in commercial litigation before Myanmar courts at all levels
• Handle international commercial arbitration proceedings
• Draft pleadings, witness statements, and legal submissions
• Advise on enforcement of foreign arbitral awards in Myanmar
• Manage case strategy and coordinate with expert witnesses
• Conduct legal research on Myanmar case law and statutory interpretation

• Qualified Advocate with right of audience before Myanmar High Courts
• Minimum 6 years of litigation and arbitration experience
• Experience appearing before the Yangon Region High Court and Union Supreme Court
• Knowledge of Myanmar Arbitration Law 2016 and Civil Procedure Code
• Experience with international arbitration (SIAC, ICC, or UNCITRAL)
• Strong advocacy and legal writing skills in Myanmar and English
• LL.B. from University of Yangon or equivalent; LL.M. preferred
