Job Description

NJORD Latvia is looking for an Employment Law Associate to advise employers on all aspects of Latvian labour law. You will handle employment contracts, workplace disputes, and regulatory compliance for a diverse portfolio of clients.

Responsibilities

Draft and review employment contracts, non-compete agreements, and workplace policies. Advise on hiring, termination, and restructuring procedures. Represent clients in employment disputes before the State Labour Inspectorate and courts. Provide guidance on working time, leave entitlements, and occupational safety requirements.

Requirements

Master's degree in law. 1-3 years of experience in employment law. Knowledge of the Latvian Labour Law and related regulations. Understanding of EU employment directives. Fluent in Latvian and English.
