Job Description

NJORD Latvia is recruiting an Insolvency & Restructuring Lawyer to advise creditors and debtors on insolvency proceedings, debt restructuring, and corporate recovery matters. This role is based in Daugavpils to serve clients in the Latgale economic region.

Responsibilities

Represent creditors and debtors in insolvency proceedings before Latvian courts. Draft restructuring plans and advise on out-of-court workout agreements. Handle creditor claims filing and distribution disputes. Advise on personal insolvency matters and guarantee enforcement.

Requirements

Master's degree in law. 2-5 years of experience in insolvency or restructuring law. Knowledge of the Insolvency Law and related Latvian civil legislation. Sworn advocate status or eligibility preferred. Fluent in Latvian and English; Russian is a plus.
