Job Description
Hogan Lovells Hong Kong is looking for a Funds & Investment Management Solicitor for its Central office. You will advise asset managers, private equity funds, and institutional investors on fund formation, regulatory compliance, and investment structuring across Asia.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on the formation and structuring of private equity, venture capital, and hedge funds
- Handle SFC licensing and compliance for Type 9 (asset management) licensed corporations
- Draft fund documentation including limited partnership agreements, offering memoranda, and side letters
- Advise on the SFC's Code on Unit Trusts and Mutual Funds and the Open-ended Fund Companies regime
Requirements
- Qualified solicitor in Hong Kong or England & Wales
- 3-6 years PQE in funds, investment management, or financial services regulatory law
- Experience with SFC licensing applications an advantage
