Job Description

Rimac Automobili seeks an IP & Patent Counsel to manage its growing patent portfolio, protect trade secrets, and handle IP licensing for electric vehicle and battery technologies. The role involves working at the intersection of law and cutting-edge automotive innovation.

Responsibilities

Manage Rimac's global patent portfolio and filing strategy. Draft and prosecute patent applications with DZIV and EPO. Conduct freedom-to-operate analyses for new EV technologies. Negotiate IP licensing and technology transfer agreements. Advise on trade secret protection and employee invention policies.

Requirements

Law degree or technical degree with IP specialisation. 3-5 years of patent or IP experience, preferably in automotive or technology. Knowledge of Croatian IP legislation, EPO procedures, and PCT filing system. Fluent in English; Croatian preferred. Technical background in engineering or physics is highly valued.
