Job Description

KPMG Law Iceland seeks an IP & Technology Lawyer to advise clients on intellectual property protection, technology licensing, and digital innovation regulation. You will support Iceland's growing tech sector with legal solutions spanning patents, trademarks, software licensing, and AI governance.

Responsibilities

Advise on trademark registration, patent prosecution, and IP portfolio management. Draft and negotiate software licensing, SaaS, and technology transfer agreements. Counsel on AI governance frameworks and digital services regulation. Handle IP disputes including infringement claims and domain name conflicts.

Requirements

Cand.Jur. or LL.M. with IP or technology law focus. 3-5 years of experience in intellectual property, technology transactions, or digital regulation. Familiarity with the Icelandic Patent Office and European Patent Convention. English fluency essential; Icelandic preferred.
