Islamic Finance Structuring Lawyer
Al Rajhi Bank is looking for an Islamic Finance Structuring Lawyer to join our Legal Department in Riyadh. This role involves structuring Shari'a-compliant financial products and ensuring compliance with both Islamic jurisprudence and SAMA regulations.
Role Overview
As the world's largest Islamic bank, Al Rajhi Bank is at the forefront of Islamic finance innovation. You will work closely with the Shari'a Board and product teams to structure murabaha, ijara, musharaka, and tawarruq products for retail, corporate, and treasury clients. This role requires a unique blend of legal expertise and Islamic finance knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
- Structure and document Shari'a-compliant banking products (murabaha, ijara, musharaka, tawarruq)
- Advise on Shari'a compliance requirements and coordinate with the bank's Shari'a Board
- Draft and review Islamic finance transaction documents, facility agreements, and security packages
- Ensure compliance with SAMA regulations, AAOIFI standards, and IFSB guidelines
- Support the development of new digital Islamic banking products and fintech partnerships
- Handle regulatory approvals for new product launches

Requirements
- LLB from a recognized university; Master's in Islamic finance, Islamic commercial law, or banking law preferred
- 4-7 years of experience in Islamic finance structuring or banking law
- Knowledge of Shari'a principles, Fiqh Al-Muamalat, AAOIFI standards, and IFSB guidelines
- Strong understanding of SAMA banking regulations
- Fluent in Arabic and English
- Saudi nationals preferred
